See The Light : Abide in Me

John 15:6

If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burn

With the parable of Jesus, the true vine and we are the branches.

the bible says, If anyone does not abide in me, he is cast out!

Here we noted that not all branches once attached to the vine will remain forever.

On the other hand, Jesus warned us that if we fail to seek Him continuously, through Prayer and reading His Word, fixing our eyes, mind on Him and to deny self, and take up His cross, we may lose sight of Him and eventually we will lose our faith and turn our back on Him and we will be thrown into the fire ( i.e Hell)

We must therefore always believe, trust, abide in Him, building a deeper relationship with Him. Repent each time you sin against Him and remember to always be joyful, prayerful and thankful, bearing the fruit of righteousness in Christ Jesus.

Father, thank you for your love and calling us friend, indeed by your grace, we are grafted into you and now abiding and connecting to you.

Lord, it is only natural that we draw from you the spiritual nutrients by reading your word, and through prayer and meditation of your word; and thinking about all your goodness with the heart filled with your love, passion and the obedience to do the will of yours , to bear fruit and to bring glory to you, to the praise of your grace upon my life.

Thank you, Lord, for your mercy that we are preserved and such a privilege and honour to be called by you as a royal priesthood in proclaiming the excellence of your goodness. In Jesus' name. Amen
